Description
Most buyers searching for a study writing desk are solving a width problem before they solve anything else. A bedroom wall, a dormitory bed, a classroom run or a hotel room desk each allow a different span, and a desk that is 20 cm too wide is a desk that comes back. This range answers that with two models built on the same material language: a 1.52 m solid wood writing desk for a full workstation, and a laminate computer table that is ordered by the centimetre across four widths and four depths.
The first model is the long one. Its top is solid wood with a thick, square block edge, and the grain runs the full 1.52 m rather than being printed onto a board. Each end stands on a matte black square-tube frame bent into an angular K profile: two diagonals that meet and branch, a leveling glide at each foot, and a rear stretcher tying the two ends together near the floor. A shallow cut-out at the rear centre of the top lets cables drop behind the desk instead of looping over the back edge. There are no drawers and no under-desk storage, which is deliberate: a study writing desk that is 1.52 m wide has to leave the whole span free for a chair, a monitor arm or two people sitting side by side.
The second model is the one that scales. It uses the same matte black steel language and the same wood-grain surface, but the top is a laminate board with rounded corners and the frame is a U-shaped sled at each end, closed by a rail that runs around the underside of the top. Height is fixed at 74 cm, and width and depth are chosen from a matrix that runs from 100 to 160 cm wide and 50 to 80 cm deep. That is what makes it a student desk for a school or a computer table for a home office: the same product can be specified as a 100 × 50 cm desk for a narrow bedroom and a 160 × 80 cm desk for a shared workspace, on one purchase order, in one finish.
Both models of study writing desk are flat-packed, both bolt together through pre-drilled positions, and both are quoted on the same terms: 20 to 50 pieces for regular colours, 100 pieces for special colours, mixed models accepted in one container, 25 to 35 days in production.
Key Features
- Two frame architectures, one finish – an angular K-frame on the 1.52 m writing desk and a U-sled frame on the laminate computer table, both in matte black square tube.
- 1.52 m continuous top – a study writing desk long enough for a monitor at one end and an open notebook at the other without moving anything.
- Solid wood top on the long model – real grain and a thick block edge instead of a printed laminate repeat.
- Laminate top with rounded corners – consistent colour across a school order, and no sharp corner at hip height.
- 100–160 cm width, 50–80 cm depth – four widths and four depths at a fixed 74 cm height, so one range covers bedrooms, labs and shared desks.
- Rear cable cut-out – a shallow opening at the back centre of the solid wood top takes monitor and charger cables off the work surface.
- Rear stretcher on the long frame – the two ends are tied near the floor, which is what stops a 1.52 m span from rocking on an uneven floor.
- Adjustable leveling glides – fitted to both frames so the desk sits flat on tile, laminate or old floorboards.
- No drawers, full knee clearance – the underside stays open, so a chair tucks in and legs are not boxed in by a pedestal.
- Flat pack with pre-drilled positions – frames bolt to the underside of the top; no measuring or drilling on site.
