Description
A dining chair is asked to do two jobs at once. At home it has to look right at a table set for four; in a cafe or restaurant it has to survive ten hours of use a day, be wiped down between covers, and still look presentable in year three. This collection was built to cover both jobs from a single production programme: six dining chair models that share the same frame discipline, the same foam specification and the same carton engineering, but differ in exactly the ways buyers actually compare — upholstery, leg material, back height, armrest and seat height.
The range runs from a linen high-back dining chair on solid rubber wood legs, through armrest cafe chairs, tufted velvet wingbacks and contemporary PU chairs on metal frames, up to gas-lift bar chairs for counter seating. Upholstery covers PU, faux leather, genuine leather, velvet and linen; legs are either metal — polished chrome, gold/brass tone or matte black — or solid rubber wood in a dark espresso finish. Backs are high-wrap or standard; some models carry diamond button tufting and silver nailhead trim, others a braided vertical-strip shell or a clean grid-tufted back.
The commercial logic is consolidation. Rather than buying dining chairs from one factory, cafe chairs from a second and bar stools from a third, a buyer builds an entire seating scheme from one supplier, one fabric swatch card, one quality standard and one container plan. For importers, hotel groups and private-label brands that means one inspection, one set of documents and one loading schedule — and for a website, one strong dining chair page instead of six thin ones competing for the same keyword.
Key Features
- Diamond button tufting with silver nailhead trim – the velvet wingback carries deep diamond tufting across the back and a single nailhead run around the outer perimeter, with a double row at the seat base, so the chair reads as contract-grade upholstery rather than a flat panel.
- 190 decorative nails and 12 buttons per seat – the linen high-back is finished by hand with 190 nails around the seat and 12 buttons across the front of the back, a detail count that shows in close-up photography.
- Webbing-and-spring seat construction – the linen model seats on webbing plus springs rather than foam alone, so the seat keeps its crown instead of flattening under daily use.
- 360° swivel with gas-lift height adjustment – the counter chair rotates a full turn on a polished chrome pedestal and adjusts by lever under the seat, covering 86 cm, 111 cm and 113 cm overall heights from one platform.
- Braided wrap-around high back – the contemporary fabric chair builds its back from vertical padded strips braided around the shell, giving full lumbar contact without a separate cushion.
- Gold/brass-tone tapered metal legs – four slim tapered legs with sphere feet lift the silhouette and match brass and warm-metal interior schemes.
- Solid rubber wood legs – kiln-dried rubber wood in a dark espresso finish; front legs square-tapered, back legs flared saber, both bolted through a reinforced seat box.
- Grid-tufted back in three vertical segments – the bar chair's back is stitched into three padded columns, which holds the panel flat and keeps the stitching lines straight after repeated cleaning.
- Wipe-clean PU and faux leather – the commercial finishes take a damp cloth and a neutral detergent; no fabric shampoo, no drying time between covers.
- Two pieces per carton – the linen high-back packs two chairs to a carton, cutting carton count and freight cost per unit against one-per-carton packing.
- MOQ from 2 pcs on the bar chair, 50 pcs on dining models – low enough to build a mixed sample order before committing to a container.

Materials & Finish
- Upholstery: PU and faux leather for wipe-clean commercial seating; genuine leather for premium restaurant and bar schemes; velvet for tufted wingbacks; linen for high-back dining chairs where texture matters more than stain resistance.
- Fabric and colour: all models are produced in customized colours against a physical swatch card, so a chair can be matched to an existing booth, banquette or wall finish.
- Seat build: high-density foam over a reinforced seat box; the linen high-back adds webbing and springs so the seat surface stays crowned.
- Legs: polished chrome with a mirror base on the bar chair; gold/brass-tone tapered metal with sphere feet on the contemporary fabric chair; matte black metal on the PU models; dark espresso solid rubber wood on the linen and velvet models.
- Wood treatment: cafe chair frames are treated for moisture and stain resistance and specified from sustainably sourced timber.
- Finish detailing: diamond button tufting, silver nailhead trim, braided vertical strips, three-column grid tufting, hand-set nails and buttons.
Assembly & Installation
- Dining models ship with legs knocked down. Each carton carries the leg set, a hardware bag and an illustrated sheet; assembly is bolt-on through pre-drilled plates and needs no specialist tools.
- Four bolts per leg, seated finger-tight first, then torqued once the chair stands square — this keeps the frame from racking on uneven floors.
- The bar chair arrives as a pedestal unit: base plate, column, gas lift and seat. The column bolts to the base with the supplied bolts, and the seat drops onto the gas lift.
- Height adjustment is a lever under the seat; the swivel runs on the same bearing, so no separate assembly step is needed.
- Felt or nylon glides can be fitted at the factory for hard floors, and are supplied loose for site fitting where floors vary.
- OEM programmes can be shipped with a QR-code installation video on the carton, which removes the need for a printed manual in multiple languages.
Applications
- Home dining rooms – the linen high-back at W56 × D65 × H92 cm seats four to six around a standard 140–180 cm table without crowding the walkway.
- Cafes and coffee shops – armrest cafe chairs give customers somewhere to rest their arms during a long laptop session, which is what keeps a table occupied through the quiet hours.
- Restaurants and brasseries – velvet tufted wingbacks and PU chairs hold a fixed cover count, wipe clean between services and photograph well for delivery platforms.
- Hotel breakfast rooms and lobby lounges – one specification across a hundred rooms, reorderable in the same colour and stitch pattern.
- Bars and kitchen islands – the gas-lift swivel chair covers counter and bar heights from one platform, with a footrest at the right height for each.
- Cafeterias, canteens and staff dining – treated wood frames and wipe-clean upholstery suit high-turnover, trolley-service environments.
- Showrooms and contract projects – mixed models from one supplier let a scheme move from dining to counter seating without a second purchase order.

Packing & Logistics
- Two chairs per carton on the linen high-back; the bar chair packs into a 42 × 52 × 58 cm carton as a pedestal unit.
- Loading: 498 pcs of the velvet wingback per 40HQ; 1,046 pcs of the bar chair per 40HQ. Mixed-model containers are consolidated at the factory on request.
- FOB Shanghai, with Ningbo available on request. The factory sits in Jiaxing, 90 km from both ports, which keeps inland haulage short and lets several models ship on one booking.
- Lead time: 15 workdays for a sample, 30–50 workdays for bulk production, 5 workdays on the bar chair.
- Cartons carry model, colour and carton number, so a mixed container can be received and allocated without opening every box.
- Flat-pack and two-per-carton engineering has cut ocean freight by 35% for a North American brand we supply, by reducing carton volume rather than cushioning.

Q: What sizes are available across the dining chair range? A: The linen high-back dining chair measures W56 × D65 × H92 cm. The velvet tufted wingback measures 52 × 58 × 102 cm. The bar chair is built on one platform at W44 × D37 with overall heights of 86 cm, 111 cm and 113 cm, so one dining chair programme covers standard tables and counter seating. Custom seat and back heights are available against a project drawing.
Q: Can I customise the upholstery, colour and legs? A: Yes. Dining chairs are produced in PU, faux leather, genuine leather, velvet or linen, in any colour from our swatch card, on polished chrome, gold/brass-tone or matte black metal legs, or on dark espresso solid rubber wood. Tufting, nailhead trim, braided strips, contrast piping and logo embroidery are all specified per order.

Q: Do the dining chairs require assembly? A: Legs ship knocked down. The bar chair assembles as base plate, column, gas lift and seat, with height adjustment on a lever under the seat.
Q: What is the lead time and warranty? A: 15 workdays for a sample and 30–50 workdays for bulk dining chair production; the bar chair runs at 5 workdays. A one-year after-sale service applies to the contemporary fabric dining chair, and spare glides, hardware and fabric swatches ship with production orders.
